About me

Aslan Mammadli

I'm Aslan Mammadli, CEO and co-founder of Enverson AI, a voice first AI English tutor that lets learners practice real conversations out loud.

How I got here

I spent six years running physical English language schools with my co-founder Emil Mammadov. That work grew into Enverson Colleges, an education group with campuses in Baku, Sumgait and Plymouth.

Years in classrooms showed us that speaking practice is what learners get least of. In January 2025 we launched Enverson AI to fix that.

What I've built

  • Enverson AI: voice first AI English tutor. CEO and co-founder.
  • Azerbaijani speech to text: a speech recognition model trained on 750 hours of Azerbaijani speech, collected through a two month crowdsourcing competition with 212 participants. It is used by ASAN, the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations, for customer service.
  • Buqelemun: a social platform for students that grew to 60,000 monthly active users and won 1st place at Youth Inc. New Generation in 2019.
  • Enverson Colleges: a multi campus education group, co-founded.

Beyond products

I have trained more than 3,000 people in entrepreneurship. I hold a B.Sc. in World Economy from Baku Engineering University.

Awards

  • Dayaq award (2025): Enverson AI was named Innovative Education Company of the Year by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan (KOBİA), with the support of the Ministry of Economy.
  • 3rd place, Unicorn Battle in Silicon Valley by Network.VC (2026), for Enverson AI.
